CAMP DIRECTOR

Coach John Wilson is the head football coach at St. Mark's High School. He has experience working with a variety of different camps, and he knows how to organize and operate a fun camp that also teaches the fundamentals of the game of football. Coach Wilson is not only the director of the Charger Champion Football Camp, but he is also the director of the Spartan Football camp and is co-director of the Blue Chip Football Camp.

Coach Wilson specializes in coaching the quarterback position and his team's are known for being one of the top passing teams in the state each year. A 1985 graduate of St. Peter's, Coach Wilson is excited about the opportunity to teach the game of football at the very same place where he developed his passion for the game.

Coaching Profiles and Duties

Paul Robinson, Defensive Coordinator, Wm. Penn. Coach Robinson teaches players in the camp basic fundamentals of the quarterback position. This also includes qb/center exchange with offensive lineman. On defense, Coach Robinson teaches the very same linebacker drills that are used for his successful Wm. Penn defense.

Greg Wilson, Assistant Coach, St. Mark's. Coach Wilson teaches the fundamentals of blocking beginning with proper stance and footwork for lineman, tight ends, and running backs. Coach Wilson also specializes in teaching proper technique for tackling by demonstrating the proper form and fit. Special emphasis on tackling properly and safely is emphasized using bags and dummies.

John Crumlish, Assistant Coach, St. John the Beloved. Coach Crumlish teaches the running backs ball handling skills, alignment, and footwork. Various drills are introduced to develop the complete running back. On defense, Coach Crumlish uses a mix of defensive back drills to develop speed and strong coverage skills.

Ted McGonigle, Assistant Coach, Our Lady of Fatima. Coach McGonigle teaches catching skills including hand positioning and running proper routes. Defensively Coach McGonigle emphasizes using the hands on defense for an advantage and implementing various techniques and rush skills for defensive lineman.
